Commercial connection requirements include:
- Valid NTN (National Tax Number)
- Lease agreement.
- Business registration documents.
Residential connection requirements include:
- Valid NIC (National Identity Card).
- Proof of ownership of the property.
- You should attach the necessary documents after applying.
- Copy of your CNIC.
- Copy of your property document.
- Load demand assessment. (Obtained from the customer service center or FESCO website).
How to Apply for a New Connection?
These are two types of applications for FESCO’s new connection. Online and Offline Methods. Offline Method to Apply for New Connection: If you don’t know how to apply online, you can do so offline by following the steps below.
- First, visit the nearest sub-division FESCO office.
- Obtain an application form without any cost.
- Fill out the application form with accurate full details of who is required in the application.
- Attach all the most critical documents with the application that are asked.
- Apply to the customer center or sub-division office.
- After verifying your information, FESCO will provide you with an estimated connection cost.
- After payment, Tesco will provide a new FESCO connection within a specific time.
Online Method to Apply for New Connection
We provide details to our FESCO users on how to apply for the online application process for the FESCO NEW connection. I shared an easy and free method to use. We provide online application details with a picture for your better understanding. However, one thing to remember is that certain documents are essential before applying for a new connection.

Then, you need to attach a copy of your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). You will upload the essential documents mentioned in the above section in JPG and PDF formats. Once you have prepared all the required documents, you can begin the online application process by following the steps and visiting this official web Portal.
Step 1: Open your new web browser and visit the Official ENC Portal
Step 2: Then show the page’s left-side ‘Apply‘ button. If you are unsure, refer to the image below for complete guidance.
Step 3: You choose the Apply button, and then the next page will ask you for your Neighbour’s 14-digit reference or 10-digit Customer ID. If you provide the correct information, the Portal’s system will automatically obtain your Neighbour’s name and address; after the electricity provider’s name, keep in touch with the sub-division name and code.
Step 4: First, you will decide on the load category you need; it depends on your consumption. For example, if you want to apply for a residential connection, your load will need 7.5 KW. You can choose to load up to 15 KW.
Step 5: After entering the necessary details, you will be presented with different connection types. Choose the one that best suits your needs. If you are looking for a home-based connection, you will need the domestic connection Fesco bill types.
Step 6: Choose the type of connection and scroll down the form to enter your details.
- If you own the property, select the Landlord Option. If it is not your own, choose the “Tenant” option.
- When filing the Applicant’s complete name in the” Applicant’s Name” section, enter the father’s name or husband in the second file.
- Your Pakistani citizen can enter the CNIC number and fill in the address according to CNIC.
- The “Mobile No.1” field has type field options; for the “Mobile No. 2” field, share your father’s or husband’s mobile phone number.
- The new connection form asks for the contact details of the person getting the connection. If it’s for you, check the “Same as Above” box to autofill your details.
Step 7: Appliances you will use at home. Choose the type from the menu available (like “Refrigerator” for fridge), and then enter the quantity (e.g., “1”). You have to repeat all other appliances you plan to use.
Step 8: You will enter the necessary details and be asked to upload all required documents. You must click the “Browse” button, choose the scanned copies of each document CNIC and PICTURE, and upload them to their assigned fields. Surely, recheck the document to ensure it is correct before submitting the form.
